Welcome to the HMNS Volunteer Website!

The Volunteer Guild at the Houston Museum of Natural Science is an integral part of Museum operations. Started in 1950, the Guild provides leadership and support for all volunteer programs. Currently 600 active members dedicate 45,000+ hours a year.

This site is for active volunteers with 40+ hours of service per year. It contains a Docent Library, Newsletters, and a Calendar. The HMNS Volunteer Office provides site registration information to new volunteers upon completion of 12 hours of service.
